Throughout time, man has been fascinated with crystals and crystal balls are a way of life for many people, especially now, with the world in so much turmoil. The rain forest is disappearing at an alarming rate. Animals are been slaughtered just for the sake of it and even worse, nobody seems to care. I know that's not true, many people do care, very deeply like us. But it's a sad fact that nothing seems to get done about it. We have of course, organizations like Greenpeace that do a good job. Unfortunately nothing will change much, without proper education.

What is happening now, has all happened before. For the sake of our children, It must not happen again.

Join me now then, on a voyage of discovery and understanding as we learn about and offer you, crystals and crystal balls. There is a lot more to them than you could ever think possible. Many of Natures secrets are still unexplained. If you find the following hard to grasp, then perhaps you could just explain, how a caterpillar can fall asleep and wake up as a butterfly. Skeptics would say that's it is impossible.

A guide to crystal balls and natural rock crystals

Double Terminated These are crystals which have been fortunate enough to have developed termination's at both ends. They can receive or transmit energy from both ends.They are protective,healing crystals and bring calmness and relaxation. Having the ability to re-energise the Chakras and help with awareness of the spiritual. They are used mainly by healers to direct energy from one person to another.

Phantom Crystal Ghosts and inclusions can be white,green,brown,gold and black but other colours do appear from time to time. When present in the Master Crystals it seems to increase the energy. More in tune with the past, due to the evolution of the inclusions, frozen in time. This type of crystal is also known as Nature's Garden in some parts of the world and The Garden of Eden in other parts. It is thought to promote the love of Nature and Animals in those who come into contact with it. It is a fully fledged member f the Mineral Kingdom and will not allow us to overlook the beauty of both.

Merlin Crystals A generator crystal with six evenly spaced sides and six approximately equal faces that center at the tip. The base is usually cut flat when removed from the matrix to enhance the stance. They can be clear to milky with or without inclusions and they occur in other forms like Rose Quartz etc. The size of Merlins range from very small to very large and the energy and flow is not related to the size at all. Used in meditation and healing to direct the energy like a wand. Merlins are a favorite of groups, placed at the center of a circle they can help to direct group consciousness.

Rainbow Crystal A gentle crystal that gives out light and protection to everyone. Warding off evil and promoting goodness in everything, they are able to help us relax and dream. Some think that they have the ability to make our dreams come true. Refraction in the crystal causes the rainbow to appear, but they defy scientific analysis, owing to the fact that the rainbows appear and disappear. This is due to temperature and light changes that can occur all the time.

	Window Crystals These are hard to find crystals, that have a diamond shaped facet window close to the tip. Most prized because they can be used to integrate the Spiritual with our own mind and body and thereby give us a better understanding and insight into the soul. Mind Body Spirit and Soul. Brought together to make us whole. Used in deep meditation, concentrating on the window can bring great revelations.
	Past Time Line Crystal When a crystal has a long thin facet that leans to the left, it is known as a Past Time crystal. Used again through meditation, it is thought that you can attain a much greater understanding of the past. Even those past events not actually within our own living memories. A very interesting and exciting crystal.
	Future Time Line Crystal When a crystal has a rectangular face leaning to the right, it is known as a Future Time crystal.  It is believed that it can be used to access information from the future. Use with care. The lean of the face, left or right, is assessed when the tip points to the Sky.

Self-Healed Crystals Occurs usually at the point where the crystal was attached to the matrix. But it can appear anywhere on the crystal. The crystal has re-grown (over time) and regenerated itself. On the face of it, this crystal is excellent for self healing purposes. It can show the way forward when hope is lost. Generating confidence and belief in a new way of renewal. They teach us to let go and helps us realize that some healing is still possible even in the worst circumstances

Faden line Crystal A crystal that has a milky white line running through the center. They represent growth and healing.

Barnacle Crystal Crystal that has other smaller crystals on it. Represents all that is family, actually it represents the Family of Man. Bringing everything closer together, it works on the emotions to make us more aware of other people and forms us into communities to share.

Tabular Crystal Point forwards view. They are flat and wide. Strong and powerful they help connect the spiritual with the physical and bring balance to life. They are useful in bridging the gap between adult and child. Known as a very good communication crystal, they can help greatly with any joining together, of that which has been split apart, be it people, places or events. They are hard to find.

Channeling Crystal A crystal with seven sides on one face with a smaller triangle face on the opposite side. It is used to channel knowledge from deep within our own sub-concious and even from other higher consciousness. Seven is the significant key, seven is a mysterious number. Very powerful crystal absolutely packed with energy.

Isis Crystal Five sides to a single face, Isis crystals are easy to spot. The shape appears throughout Ancient Egypt, ( hence the name Isis ) Basically feminine, they were connected with the people of that land ages ago, who understood better their true purpose. Today, they can be of help to men and women who wish to understand the point of view of their male or female opposites.

Dow Crystal Point forwards view. A crystal with three, primary, seven-sided faces and three secondary triangular faces between them.  It is believed this crystal is a combination crystal that incorporates the properties of both a Channneler and a Transmitter ( Merlin) crystal in one crystal. It helps facilitate intuitive awareness and connection with “All That Is”. One of the "Twelve Master Crystals"

Smoky quartz Crystal Brown or golden colour but can be almost black. The colour can be found in all types of quartz rock crystal. Generally good for increasing the energy and power of the crystal. The colour can vary with the temperature. Sometimes it contains elements of Citrine, which is good for promoting wealth. But can also induce an awareness of other planes of existence. The colour helps to repel absorption of negative emotions.

Twin Crystal A crystal with two points on a common base is called a twin crystal.  You can tell a twin crystal from two crystals that are simply attached to each other, by the fact that both parts of a twin crystal are exactly parallel to each other, and have no boundary between them. It is believed the Twin crystal can generate positive energy toward improving a relationship.  They can help you gain insight into the underlying problems in a relationship, and help work through them.  A twin with a rainbow can be very effectively used to project healing energy into a relationship.

Laser Crystal A crystal in the form of a natural wand which is used to focus healing energy. They are naturally slightly curved. This makes them highly effective and powerful tools.

Key Crystal A crystal which has a depression cut into the surface. They are usually three or six sides to the key. It is called a key because it is thought that it can unlock secrets and obtain hidden information contained within the energy of the crystal. An example is provided here Secrets of the Ancients

I am quite certain that most people would agree and as some of the illustrations above would prove, the beauty of crystals is astounding. Whether you believe in their properties or not is a different matter. I can honestly say, that I believe in them and thousands more are beginning to agree as they explore and enjoy the wonderful world of crystals.

Crystal Balls

The fascinating and unimaginable beauty.

When someone says " Crystal ball " you get the image of an old gypsy woman who is not to be messed with. But, if she is a fake, then how come you walk away and say to yourself "how did she know that?"
We are all born with the gift, modern society takes it away from us. If you believe it you will see, but if you do not want to know, then the gift will be lost. At the end of the day the choice is yours. We all fear what we do not understand but there is nothing to fear but fear itself.

We seem to push aside people who say that they have seen the future and what will happen if we do not listen. We say that these people are mad, insane because they have seen demons and aliens. But perhaps we should listen, they could just be the key to our future. Instead they are locked away from our eyes and ears, why listen to the mad man?

You may find it hard to believe but some psychic's do vanish. If anyone asks questions they do not exist anymore, or they are stamped as mad. You can then go see these people, but their carers will say "don't listen to them, they are on medication, they don't know what they are saying". I wonder how much an hour they get paid to take away someone's freedom.

A crystal gazing ball will channel for you, help you to connect with your spirit friends who can give you information and a better understanding of life. Then it is up to you whether you tell or not. Hold those feelings with you, they will come to light sooner or later, only time will tell.

Being around crystals really opens your eyes. They go through moods just like us. You try taking a photo of a crystal that dose not what want to be photographed. The colours are all wrong, the images are blurred and sometimes the camera just won't work. You tell me what's happening there. Tell me how a clear quartz crystal can turn blue or red in one photo and in the next it can be as clear as water, without moving the camera or changing the light.

Crystal balls come in many sizes and colours. The most popular is Rock Crystal or quartz. As long as the crystal grows large enough it can be shaped, a crystal ball will not grow round, it has to be carved into that shape.
They can be expensive and different stones give different meanings. For example a Rose Quartz sphere is for love and relationships, and well as for self love and emotional problems.

Rather than having a long row of different large spheres. I have a nicely sized Rock Crystal sphere ( 80mm ) and then a range of smaller 30 or 40mm charging spheres, made of different crystal or gemstone.

Holding one of the smaller charging spheres, sends energy messages to the larger rock crystal sphere, that you can then pick up on.

Crystal cleansing

Because crystals absorb energy, both positive and negative, from time to time they will all require cleansing. There is nothing mysterious in that fact. We just need to find out the best way that's all.

To cleanse my own crystals I use a mixture of Sunlight, Moonlight and a herb called Sage. Simply follow your own instinct and choose your own method. You can start by holding your crystals under running water, shake dry and place in Sunlight for a day or Moonlight for a night. Sage is also excellent to use. I have a crystal ball stand that has room for a charcoal bloc underneath it. I light the charcoal and sprinkle dried sage on it for about a minute, as I turn the ball.. The smoke will smudge the crystal ball and clear the energy inside. Simply place under running water and allow to dry naturally and that's it.
